Data Security Guaranteed

Our technology is designed for highest data security as required by the law. Data will be stored securely and in encrypted form. Your personal data is extremely well protected against theft and fraud. This patented procedure prevents misuse, both by authorized and unauthorized people:

  • The filename of every voice profile is encrypted with 128 characters. The content of a voice profile is also encrypted.
  • A key is needed to match a voice profile to the speaker’s personal data. This key is generated under runtime conditions by the VOICETRUST server, and no reference table is stored. In addition, all user data and voice profiles are stored separately on different servers.
  • Your voice profile will not be transmitted in any case. Via secure Internet, the VOICETRUST server only sends the approval or rejection of an authentication – and not more than that.
  • We have decided in all enterprise products against text-independent recognition of your voice: text-independent voice recognition would make any of our clients identifiable, no matter what he/she says in a personal conversation or over the phone. The VOICETRUST voice profile is always limited to specific text, e.g. “My voice is my passport”. Only if the user repeats the sentence he recorded during the registration, he can be authenticated by voice. This text-dependent approach prevents the misuse of your biometric data – by criminals recording your voice and also by authorities. We at VOICETRUST work for you, our customers, and never against you!
  • Data security experts– who usually critisize many aspects of biometrical systems– see no danger for the users' right of self-determination in using a text-dependent voice authentication system.

We recognize:
Desktop Users
Sign into the company network or reset your password with your voice.
Credit Card and Online Banking Customers
Bank customers wish for maximum flexibility and security. So far, these have been contradictory goals, especially in online banking or the use of credit cards.
Owners of PDAs and Cell Phones
Cell phones and PDAs have basically become mobile offices. Data stored on them has to be secured.
Callers
True enough, since the launch of ISDN and digital mobile networks it is possible to see the caller ID on your display. But this is not the caller’s identity!
