Access Authentication for Remote Access and VPN
External access to company data is a challenge for virtually every company. Opening the network to the outside demands maximum data security and protection.
Access routers, firewalls, VPNs all have in common that they need the user's identity to grant access. Reliable authentication therefore unquestionably plays a significant role.
VOICE.TRUST remote access is a reliable and easy-to-implement authentication solution. The user need enter only a user ID and a call-back number (or in the case of two-factor authentication, also a PIN).

| Using the existing telephone infrastructure, the user is called back and authenticated by his own voice. No additional hardware or software is required.
Remote access proceeds as usual, without modification to software or procedures.
The RADIUS or TACACS+ server initiates authentication against the VOICE.TRUST server to which the user data is transmitted.
The VOICE.TRUST server then checks the PIN in order to call the user for voice verification.
Only the right ID and the right voice will be successfully authenticated.
